Geotechnical Engineering was formed in 1972 as a result of a management buyout. Geotech is a unique specialist civil contractor whose principle activities include: civil construction, geotechnical construction, geotechnical services, ground anchors and post tensioning.

Geotech’s major projects include: Dartmouth Regulating Dam, Flemington Racecourse Tunnel, Eden Hills Slope Stabilisation and Burnley Tunnel Remedial Works.

Coleman Rail is a construction contractor specialising in trackwork for both rail and light rail networks. Coleman Rail’s principal activities include: Design and Construct or Construct only Contracts, Refurbishment or Rehabilitation of Rail Track, Rail Maintenance and Light Rail Track Construction and Renewal.

Coleman Rail’s major projects include: Jolimont Rationalisation Project, Guildford Bridge Project, Concrete Resleepering Adelaide Yard and Spencer Street Station Preliminary Works.

LCW Private Equity invested in Geotech Holdings in December 2006. Geotech Holdings is a privately held company which acts as the holding company for Geotech and Coleman Rail. LCW Private Equity acquired a 20% stake in Geotech Holdings.
