The West Australian
6 July 2004
Melbourne-based Carnegie Wylie & Co has beaten its bigger rivals by taking the honours as Australia's most successful financial advisers in the June half.
The firm advised on seven mergers and acquisitions worth $US26.77 billion ($37.54 billion) during the period, trumping US giant Goldman Sachs on eight transactions worth $US26.55 billion, according to Thomson Financial.
Carnegie Wylie's success was driven by its involvement with the just-completed $US19 billion Westfield merger.
