Mark Hoban Joins Lazard as Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group

NEW YORK – September 29, 2026 – Lazard, Inc. (NYSE: LAZ) announced that Mark Hoban has joined the firm as a Managing Director in its Financial Sponsors Group, based in New York.

In this role, Mark will cover large-cap private equity firms and alternative asset managers, advising clients across M&A, secondaries, equity offerings, restructuring and liability management, and debt capital raising.

Mark joins Lazard from Bank of America, where he was a Managing Director covering large-cap private equity firms and alternative asset managers. He led deal execution for sponsor transactions across products including M&A advisory, equity offerings, and financing for leveraged buyouts.

Mark holds an M.B.A. from Emory University's Goizueta Business School and a B.S. in Economics from Oglethorpe University.
