Naomi Wiesen
Deputy General Counsel & Global General Counsel of Financial Advisory
Naomi Wiesen is a Managing Director and serves as Deputy General Counsel and Global General Counsel of Financial Advisory at Lazard. Previously, she was General Counsel of Financial Advisory for The Americas and Asia.
Naomi is a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee, Global Operating Committee, and North American Fairness Opinion Committee. Her primary focus is on Lazard's Financial Advisory business, although she also assists the firm with various general corporate and strategic matters.
Naomi joined Lazard in 2000 from Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where she worked as a corporate lawyer. Prior to that, she served as a law clerk at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Naomi is an active member of the New York City Bar Association Committee on Mergers, Acquisitions & Corporate Control Contests.
She holds a B.A. from Cornell University and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
